Our lead investigational therapy for Parkinson’s disease (PD), sasineprocel (ANPD001), is a single-dose, autologous dopaminergic neuron precursor cell (DANPC) therapy made from a patient’s own iPSCs generated from a small skin biopsy.
In ongoing clinical studies, sasineprocel is delivered via intracranial administration to the putamen, aiming to replace and restore both dopamine and the damaged neural circuitry that underpin everyday movement and function in Parkinson’s disease, without the need for immune suppression.
Aspen assesses cell quality at each manufacturing stage using proprietary machine learning-based genomics tests.
